Viduthalai Budget

Viduthalai’s Budget is not stated by the filmmakers but after seeing the trailer it is clear that the whole movie is shooted in the forest and village so the budget of this film is not huge. In December 2020, the film crew relocated to the Sathyamangalam forest to capture significant sequences that featured Soori. 

Filming, however, commenced only on January 4, 2021. Bharathiraja withdrew from the shooting schedule citing the weather conditions, leading Vetrimaaran to replace him with Kishore. To reduce production costs, the team utilized an iPhone to capture some parts of the film. 

The filming in the Sathyamangalam forest lasted for three months, and the team moved to Chengalpattu in April 2021, where they set up an extensive police camp and shot the film for 20 days. After the COVID-19 lockdown, the team scheduled to film the final leg of the film in Sathyamangalam. 

The principal photography concluded by December 31, 2022.
