K.G.F: Chapter 2 is the most costly Kannada film of all time, with a budget of 100 crore (US$13 million).
Neel kept his predecessor’s technicians, Bhuvan Gowda handled cinematography, while Ravi Basrur composed the soundtrack and the film’s background music.
In early 2019, Dutt and Tandon joined the cast, with the former making his Kannada film debut. A portion of the film was shot concurrently with Chapter 1.
Box Office Collection:
According to Sainik Entertainment, the period action drama “KGF: Chapter 2,” starring Yash, has raked in Rs 468 crore in its first six days.
It is expected to make 33 crores on the seventh day. On Thursday, Prashanth Neel’s multilingual film, directed by him and produced by Hombale Films, was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films distributed the film in North Indian markets.
The film grossed 134.36 crore on its first day alone, with 63.66 crore coming from Hindi.
Worldwide Collection:
KGF: Chapter 2 has surpassed the 500 crore milestone at the Indian box office in all languages, making it the fifth film to do so. Baahubali 2, 2.0, Dangal, and RRR are the other four films now ahead of KGF 2.
KGF Chapter 2 appears to be continuing to rule the box office. Chapter 2 (Hindi) generated roughly 15-17 crores* on its first Wednesday, according to early KGF statistics.
The film’s total box office collection is now 254.56-256.56 crores, according to the latest figures. Yes! The film will eventually cross the 250 crore mark with today’s profits.
Total Collection:
The Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2 is shattering box office records. On its sixth day, Tuesday, the film managed to maintain a firm hold, grossing more than Rs 50 crore across all languages.
This brings the film’s overall gross to a whopping Rs.676 crore.
