Nevertheless, he underscores the necessity of Mike White’s involvement as the screenwriter for any franchise continuation.

Jack Black expressed his desire for a sequel to “School of Rock,” suggesting the title “Electric Boogaloo.” He eagerly awaits its development. Black highlighted the importance of Mike White, the writer of the original film, emphasizing White’s talent. However, Black noted that White is currently occupied with “White Lotus.”

It has been over twenty years since the original film premiered, and numerous members of the School of Rock cast have pursued various ventures, extending beyond the boundaries of the film industry. Despite this, Black remains a prominent figure, with recent projects consolidating his renown. If a sequel were to emerge, it could align fortuitously with Black’s professional journey.
