Rajkummar Rao’s film Chalang is to be released on Diwali, the trailer of the film was released on Saturday. The actor plays the role of a PT teacher, who is happy to take a back seat as his fellow teachers prioritize academics about the game. But will he be able to give his best when played by a more qualified teacher, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub, as they both compete against each other for the same job?
The trailer introduces Raju, the character of Rajkumar, an under-qualified teacher at a semi-government funded school in Haryana, and Nusrat Bharucha plays the role of his colleague, a computer teacher named Neelu. Things change for Montu when he encounters a more qualified teacher who has everything he needs to take his job.
